Why Brown’s Gas is 66% hydrogen and 33% oxygen
Electrolysis runs an electric current through water. Each water molecule, H2O, carries 2 hydrogen atoms for every 1 oxygen atom, so splitting water yields 2 volumes of hydrogen gas for every 1 volume of oxygen gas. Collected together, the 2 gases form a 2-to-1 mix: about 66% hydrogen, 33% oxygen. In shorthand the hydrogen-oxygen blend is also called HHO gas.
The Brown’s Gas blend is produced on site at 214 E. Albany Ave by that electrolysis process, on a separate machine from the HX-600.
How the HX-600 hydrogen machine differs
The HX-600 generates hydrogen on demand by PEM (proton exchange membrane) electrolysis of purified water. The machine delivers hydrogen at up to 600 ml per minute and 99.9% purity. It uses no tanks and no stored gas, and it shuts off if its water runs low.
The manufacturer recommends HX-600 sessions of 30 to 60 minutes. The HX-600 operates under strict air ventilation and ignition-control procedures: no smoking, flame or spark near the equipment. Hydrogen Inhalation is a member service, included at no additional cost, with no paid single session.
What a Brown’s Gas session involves
You sit or lie down for the session, fully clothed, and breathe the gas blend through a nasal cannula. The cannula is the only item attached to you during the session. A personal nasal cannula is $15 when required, and yours is kept at the center for your future sessions. The Brown’s Gas and HX-600 sessions both use a nasal cannula, and both are self-directed once your training is complete.
Brown’s Gas pricing and member access
Brown’s Gas is included with membership at no additional charge, on a first come, first served basis, with no appointment to book: members use the machine when it is free, with no session fee. Brown’s Gas Deluxe is $50 for 1 hour and is booked as its own session. The service page also lists 6 sessions for $250, which is $41.67 per session, and a monthly Brown’s Gas plan at $300. The 60-minute session price excludes the $15 nasal cannula.
